The new DFB vice-president Silke Siching looks very confident about the coming months at the renewed German Football Association.
“First of all, I have to find myself myself, talks must seek talks with all those involved there,” said Sinning in a “Deutschlandfunk” interview. “All were very open to me. I think that will be a good cooperation.”
Sizing was surprisingly chosen on Friday at the DFB Bundestag. She prevailed in a secret election against the long-standing 1st Vice President Rainer Koch, who lost his Bureau’s seat. “Many leaders from the associations and clubs have contacted me and expressed the wish that I should definitely start. I said I’m listening to my gut feeling,” Siching said the “picture on Sunday”.
